Career
• Elected member of the Nebraska Legislature from the 7th District (2017-2023) and Vice Chair of the Executive Board of the Nebraska Legislature (2019-2023)
• Former public school teacher; served as an Americorps fellow through Teach for America and was appointed to the Omaha Public Schools Board (2013)
• Supports strengthening our public schools, improving access to health care, encouraging technology and innovation, and improving consumer protections; does not support the overturning of Roe v. Wade
