Career
• Elected member of the Virginia Senate from the 7th District (2020-2022) and member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia’s 2nd District (2023); was a pilot in the U.S. Navy (1993-2003)
• Worked in several long-term care and nursing facilities and as a primary care provider for a small private practice; works primarily as an adult-geriatric primary care nurse practitioner
• Supports the overturning of Roe v. Wade, increasing federal funding for social safety net programs, qualified immunity, and increasing defense spending; does not support gun-control legislation and economic growth via federal spending
