Career
• Elected U.S. Representative for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District (2019-2023), member of the Main House of Representatives from the 60th District (2014-2018), and co-chair of a democratic caucus (2023)
• Served in the U.S. Marine Corps (2002-2006), completing two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, rising to the rank of corporal, and receiving the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal
• Supports promoting affordable and high quality healthcare, serving veterans, protecting the environment and combating climate change, and a wealth tax to pay for public programs; does not support the overturning of Roe v. Wade
