Career
• Elected to serve as the U.S. Representative from Arizona's 5th (2011-2013), 6th (2013-2023) and 1st Congressional Districts (2023)
• Previously elected to serve in the Arizona State House of Representatives (1991-1994), chair the state Board of Equalization (1995-2004), and serve as chief deputy treasurer for Maricopa County (2004-2007)
• Supports increasing border security, reducing government spending and debt, promoting national defense, and recognizing STEM education for the future; does not support Russia’s actions in Ukraine and Iran’s government

• Grew up in Scottsdale with his adoptive parents and two adopted siblings
